Renting the Zoo
Looking for wild place to host your next private party or corporate event? Look no further! Zoo Boise is available for private group rentals, after regular operating hours.
What better way to celebrate with family and friends or thank your employees than to open up Zoo Boise for them after hours. Add in great food and exciting activities and you have an event sure to be remembered by all.
Zoo Boise is available for rent mid-April through September. The entire zoo may be rented or the African Plains Exhibit may be rented separately, if you prefer. Rental times are available 5:30pm - 8:30pm daily, except all major holidays.

Optional rental amenities:
- Animal Presentation - This option includes the Simplot Education Center being open for one hour during your event and features live animal presentations. $100.00
- Carrousel Rides- This option will allow unlimited rides for your
guests during your event from 6pm-8:30pm. Prices are based on the size
of event ($150.00 - $375.00)
- Gift Cards for your guests from the Zootique Giftshop. These can
be pre purchased as bonuses or raffle prizes.
Picnic facilities:
- 30 6' seating tables (no charge)
- Power outlets on event stage (4 110v outlets)
- BBQ: None available
- Drinking fountains located near restrooms in zoo.
Other Amenities:
- Approximately 700 parking spaces throughout Julia Davis
Park. This parking is shared with other Julia Davis Park patrons.
Parking is limited to designated areas and is available on a first come
first serve basis. Vehicles parked in "No Parking" areas will be towed at
owner's risk and expense. Boise Valley Towing 389-9707.
- Restrooms - Front of the zoo: Four stalls for women and two
stalls/two urinals for men. By Carousel: Two stalls for women and one
stall/two urinals for men. Open year round and heated.
- Outside Zoo Boise recreation - Boise River; Greenbelt;
Rose Garden; Boise Art Museum; Idaho Historical Museum; Idaho Black History Museum;
(Paddle) Boat House; Boise Tour Train; Discovery Center of Idaho; Big Mike 2295
Steam Locomotive; six tennis courts and sixteen horseshoe pits.
